Christmas is just around the corner and I had Santa on my mind and this sketch just came out....but it didn't have any words so I'm assuming you guys/gals must have that part.
So hit the comments section and post some funny dialogue/captions.
Warren Ellis runs the numbers on the dismal state of science fiction magazines -- Asimov's circ is down 13 percent; Interzone is running 2,000-3,000 copies per issue; Analog (which should really change its name back to Astounding) is selling through at 32 percent. This is pretty depressing news. - boingboing
Make me a little sad. On another note...I miss Omni magazine.
Centennial, Colo. – Oct. 5, 2007 — "Star Trek" fans can now boldly go where no man has gone before to see two of the most famous episodes of the original television series — their local movie theatre. "Star Trek: The Original Series" is being beamed onto the big screen in a special one-night event in select movie theatres nationwide on Tuesday, Nov. 13th, featuring original Season 1 episodes "The Menagerie" Parts 1 and 2, digitally remastered in High-Definition and Cinema Surround Sound. Fans will also be greeted by an introduction from creator Gene Roddenberry's son, Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, and given a behind-the-scenes look at how the episodes were digitally re-mastered from the original negatives — including the reinvention of the old TV show special effects using new CGI animation, and the orchestral re-recording of the show's theme music — in a new 30-minute in-theatre exclusive featurette. --STARTREK.COM
I think I'll go. I would love to see this on the big screen. I just hope I don't get beat up by the trekkies
Hey everbody. I just want to call your attention to a something pretty serious. Brad Ashworth, a great friend of Extralife Radio and Missiondeep, is in need of our help.
So what exactly is the holdup on the comic you may ask.
Well...from the first Mission Deep comic I did I never really thought of it as a comic for syndication. But this past week on Comics Coast To Coast we interviewed Amy Lago, comic editor for Washington Post Writers Group. After this interview I really didn't have such a bleak outlook for syndication like I did when I started the comic.
I guess what I am trying to say is that now I think I might would like to move in that direction with the comic.
I've been looking at my characters....my art style....my writing and most importantly...my dedication to the comic.
I want to get back into this with both feet and I want to do it right with regular updates and consistant quality of work.
Please be patient with me while I figure this out. :)
You people know I record 2 podcasts on Thursday nights... Comics Coast To Coast and Extralife Radio....why wouldn't you remind me of that before you let me promise I would put a new comic up on Friday....sheesh.

I had planned on the return of Mission Deep to be Thursday.
But I underestimated how unprepared I really was.
I discovered I had not installed my scanner on my machine since I reloaded it several months ago...which meant about an hour downloading drivers from HP...thanks HP!!
Then I realized I didn't have photoshop installed on the PC hooked to the scanner and I couldn't find my CD...boo hoo for me....so I downloaded The Gimp for a quick fix.
So all I really had time to do was this test...and here it is. Hopefully I will get you a real comic by Friday.
